Traveling back to Kenyon on Sunday gave every one a sense of deja vu. This time it was still very cold, but luckily it wasn't raining.
The first game went into 9 innings, with both teams scoring throughout all nine. In the end we were able to pull out the win with a 7-5 score.
Luckily the second game didn't go into 9 innings and we were able to win 7-6. We went into the seventh inning with a 4-3 score. We knew that we didn't want to go into the bottom of the 7th inning and just be up by one run, so our offense worked to put together 3 more runs. This gave us a comfortable 7-3 lead going into the bottom of the 7th. Kenyon was ready for the challenge and was able to score 3 more runs to make the score 7-6 before the end of the game.
We finally got the sweep we were looking for. On the season our record is now 21-11. This is Wooster's winningest season so far! The record was 20 wins, which three teams before ours was able to reach. This is an exciting time to be a Scot and we hope to continue breaking records this year!
