Saturday's games were filled with lots of excitement and all around good playing. The first game against Wisconsin Lutheran ended in 5 innings with a score of 10-0. We used the opportunity to jump on them early and continued to score throughout the game. In the beginning of the game, we had a minor mishap with one of our girls getting cleated. Six stitches later, she was back to watch the second game and cheer on the team. What a trooper!
I would have to say that the second game against Worcester State was one of our best. The team was aggressive at the plate and scored four runs right away. While we could have been down and given up, the team came together and everyone contributed at the plate to come right back. In the end, we won the game 7-6. This game really helped to show what our team is capable of this season; the sky is the limit!
